Throughout history, this stone has been mistaken for Ruby, which is easy to understand once you see it's magnificently deep color. In fact, the stones set in the Russian Crown jewels, long thought to be Rubies, are actually Rubellite Tourmaline stones. This is a stone of deep healing and works particularly well for past life work and releasing issues that have been carried through to the current lifetime.
Working with Red Rubellite Tourmaline:
To use this stone, hold it for a moment to tune into its energy frequency, and then reach for your journal and begin writing. Keep the stone near you as you write. Turn your attention to free-writing (or automatic writing) about past life experiences you may have had - jot down anything that comes to mind without judgment. You may include words, symbols, sketches, phrases, etc. that come through during your writing session. When you're done writing, pick up your Red Rubellite Tourmaline crystal and try to interpret what you've written - how does it connect your past lives to your current lifetime? Then sit quietly and intend to release any negative karma or patterning that's not serving you in this lifetime.
Crystal Healing is not meant to replace conventional medicine, but rather to complement and enhance it. Information within this site is metaphysical in nature and is by no means medical. Crystals should only be used with the understanding that they are not an independent therapy, but rather are just part of a holistic healing approach to wellness.
