Freya and Cat Cold Cast Bronze Statue
Freya is the Norse goddess of love, magic, fertility, and material possessions. She rules over the heavenly field of Folkvangr where she receives half of those who die in battle (while the other half go to Odin's hall, Valhalla.)
Freya is the wife of Odrβ the couple shares many similarities with another pair of famous Norse gods, Odin and Frigga. Due to the similarities between Freya and Frigga many believe they are essentially the same figure, derived from an earlier proto-Germanic goddess, Frija.
This handpainted statue is made of cold-cast bronze resin. Measures approximately 10Β½" tall, 4Β½ deep, and 5" wide.
