Cailleach Nan Cruachan Cold Cast Bronze Statue
The Cailleach is a divine deity with the appearance of a hag, she is credited with the creation of landscapes and weather, especially the storm and winter, thus she is also known as the Queen of Winter. As a nature goddess, the Cailleach is an important deity archetype in the Gaelic; much of modern Irish and Scottish folklore originated from the legend of the Cailleach.
