Some people have reported experiencing strong reactions with the Healing Properties of Moldavite. The rarest specimens are known as “angel chimes”; pieces will actually “ring” if dropped onto a sheet of glass. The use of moldavite for spiritual transformation isn’t new, either: moldavite pieces have traditionally been used in ritual objects. Pieces even appeared at the same site as the Venus of Willendorf.

Moldavite Lore:
Moldavite is a naturally formed, forest-green glass–the result of an asteroid impact almost 15 million years ago. Such an impact obviously produces a lot of heat, enough to melt the rock underneath, forming the glassy meteorites known as a tektite. Moldavite comes only from the Czech Republic, and is becoming rarer every year. At one time farmers found pieces while plowing or on the ground. These pieces might be given to brides to promote marital harmony.
