More About Amazonite:
Amazonite has been around a long time. The ancient Egyptians used it to make scarabs, and parts of the Egyptian Book of the Dead are carved in amazonite. Some even claim the female warriors known as Amazons used it -- though no one seems to know exactly what they used it for.
